First impressions matter a lot.

Take care of high-quality photos and videos – use a “ghost mannequin” or a white background for the main photo, show how the item looks on you or your customers, add signs of authenticity: labels, original packaging, defects. This increases trust and the likelihood of sales/rentals.

A tidy item means a successful rental/sale

Before shipping the item, make sure it is clean, tidy and ready to wear – this is your responsibility as the renter. We recommend taking a photo of the item before packing – this will help document its condition.
We suggest applying a cleaning fee only to more valuable items (e.g. over €1,000), and not exceeding €15. An excessively high fee may deter the customer.

The truth is always best.

Be honest – both in the photos and in the description. Indicate defects, malfunctions, the actual color and size. This will help avoid misunderstandings and increase your reputation on the platform.

Let me try it on - before renting.

Customers are more likely to choose items that they can try on before renting - this gives them confidence.

  • Regular fitting – the customer pays a small fee (we offer €6) and can try on the item. The item is not reserved for the date of the celebration.

  • Fitting with reservation – the customer pays a higher fee (e.g. €15–20) which temporarily reserves the chosen rental date. After fitting, he decides whether he wants to finally rent the item.

Activate both options - this will give customers more flexibility and increase the chances of renting the item.

Price matters.

Check out the prices of similar items on our platform - both for sale and for rent.

When lending an item, enter the retail value to get our pricing recommendations. If you forget the value, you can often find it online.

Protection fee – more peace of mind for both parties

When choosing a rental, offer a symbolic (e.g. €3) "protection” fee. It would cover minor damages, up to €50, that can happen even to a very careful customer – for example, a dropped button, a small stain or seam coming apart, a small tear.
This fee gives the renter more confidence, and you less stress and clear rules if the returned item is not in 100% perfect condition.

Communicate with customers. Respond quickly.

Communicate actively with buyers and tenants – answer inquiries, provide additional measurements or insights. More information = higher conversion.

Choose both options – rent and sale

The same item can not only find a new home, but also bring in returns repeatedly. Renting is often an easier path than selling – it is easier for customers to rent than to buy outright. While you are waiting for a buyer, your item can generate income from each rental.

Renting often drives sales - people are more likely to buy something they’ve already tried. And if you only sell once, you only earn once. Multiple rentals can earn you even more than you could from a single sale.

If you want maximum return, always choose both options - both renting and selling.

How do you know if an item is unused?

Tips - for safety.jpg

If you offer the option to try on or return an item (whether for rental or sale), we recommend attaching a personalized label before shipping. This helps show that the item was shipped responsibly and provides clear evidence if it has been worn.

Attach the label before shipping the item.
Use a clothing tagging gun and disposable tags. This is an easy way to ensure that the item was returned unworn.

Choose your own identification mark - but one that is clearly understandable to the buyer.
Find a solution that works for you – it could be a label with your initials, a logo, a brighter color, or a unique shape. The more personal the label, the harder it is to copy or repost.

Affix responsibly and in a visible place
The label should be attached in a way that it cannot be removed unnoticed, but at the same time does not interfere with the measurement. Suitable locations are close to the seam or the edge of the sleeve.

This is an effective way to protect yourself from unpleasant situations and show the recipient that the item was sent clean, unworn, and with care.
